This North York neighbourhood sits just south of highway 401, in between Yonge street and Leslie Street. York Mills is a very affluent neighbourhood with large properties, old trees and quiet streets. Because of its prominent location, York Mills shares the high-end lifestyle with the Bridle Path and Lawrence Park neighbourhoods. The saw and flour mills that once turned along the Don River have been replaced with office buildings and luxury condominiums.
